Sound & Silence on the Solstice - This special event will encompass both Sound Bathing and Himalayan techniques in a unique offering designed to invite you into the deepest layers of yourself, accessing your inner sun of vitality in a way that will brighten without burnout and restore your radiance as we shift into the summer months. Kevilyn will guide you through grounding practices in the Himalayan tradition. Breath-work and Yoga Nidra techniques offer radiant expansion. Sandra will offer quartz crystal bowl Sound Bathing designed to empower and release you into deepest relaxation. This harmonious combination of methods relieves tension held in body, mind and spirit, a journey through consciousness and presence. The benefits of these practices are well documented. No experience is required. Participants will simply recline comfortably and receive this guided immersion in sound and silence. Anyone craving deeper rest, a calm mind and an expansive sense of well-being will benefit from this special practice.
Instructor Bios: Sandra Kurzdorfer a teacher since 2010 began her studies in Kriya yoga and specializes in Yin yoga, Restorative yoga, Therapeutic yoga and Sound Bathing. Her focus is on healing the physical body while relieving emotional and mental stress through mindful awareness. Sandra believes yoga to be a deeply healing practice that should be made accessible to every body.
Kevilyn O’Connor, ERYT/YACEP, is a yoga therapist within the VA healthcare system and owner of The Wild & Still, LLC. Introduced to yoga over thirty years ago, Kevilyn’s teaching is grounded in compassion and a desire to help students unlock their personal potential for inner peace.
