Yoga Stars & Stripes creator, Kevilyn O’Connor is thrilled to bring this annual fundraiser back to Nu Movement. Every Veterans Day, Yoga Stars & Stripes offers benefit classes, free to veterans and active duty military. This year Kevilyn is joined by fellow veteran, Danna Justis.
Kevilyn and Danna will each offer one 90 minute class benefiting two organizations that are near and dear to them, The Give Back Yoga Foundation and VETOGA. Choose one class or take both for an ideal extended experience.
CLASS DESCRIPTIONS & SCHEDULE
12:00 - 1:30pm Yin/Yang Asana led by Danna - You will enjoy a well-rounded and biomechanically attuned practice that will bring strength and suppleness to all the joints, muscles and tissues of the body. Donations for this class will go directly to VETOGA.
1:30 -3:00pm Yoga Nidra led by Kevilyn - A no experience required guided meditation that is a favorite among veterans, where participants simply recline comfortably on provided props. This system of progressive relaxation brings deep rest and an enhanced sense of well-being.
