Grief is a disconnect, or sadness, in response to unwanted change. Rage is our response to a betrayal. These unwanted changes and betrayals can be big or small, personal or collective.
If we do not compassionately move these feelings through us, they can become locked in the body, and can prevent us from fully engaging with life.
Grief and Rage Yoga Circle is a sacred space where we use breath, meditation, movement, and vocalization to move grief and rage through the body. It is a sacred space where we are safe to witness our own experience, and safe to be witnessed by others.
In circle, we heal ourselves by acknowledging and expressing our grief and rage. We connect back to self and others through love and gratitude practices. And we empower ourselves as we transform our grief and rage into a more purposeful life.
