April Gong Sound Bath: Awaken Life Within

It's Spring and life is awakening, yet internally you might still be feeling a bit unproductive, lacking energy or just uninspired. In this class the powerful sound of the gong, paired with our personal and group intention, will help us to penetrate deep through the layers of resistance that we have built around ourselves, to allow our life force (prana) to begin to flow optimally from the inside out. When Life flows freely through us, we are able to see every day as an opportunity and as a gift, and we can live with more joy, ease, creativity and purpose.

WHAT IS A GONG BATH? A gong bath is a form of sound therapy where the gong is played in a therapeutic way to bring about balance. The term "gong bath" means that you are bathed in sound waves while laying on the floor for about 45 min, wrapped in a blanket. It is very relaxing and calming, appropriate for everybody who is craving some deep rest and a break from the ever-racing mind. The gong aligns all levels of our being (body, mind, emotions) to support healing and transformation.

POSSIBLE BENEFITS: On a physical level, the gong releases tension and blocks in the body, it stimulates a higher functioning of the glandular and nervous system, it increases prana (our vital life force) and improves circulation. It allows you to slow down and have a break from your thinking mind, release emotions and feel lighter and more free from within.
