Vesna has been a devoted yoga student for over ten years. Her yoga practice began with Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga styles. She later transitioned to more deliberate yoga traditions, such as Iyengar and Anusara. She became a certified yoga teacher in 2012 through Shakti Yoga in Geneseo, NY. Vesna obtained her Prenatal yoga teacher certification through Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health, MA.
Vesna’s teaching style is intuitive but precise, caring and non-judgmental. Her goal as a yoga teacher is to help students find their own inner truth, and to awaken to inherent possibilities they may not be aware of. She has taught yoga classes in both Europe and the USA.
Vesna lives in Rochester, NY with her husband, Paul, and their three-year-old son Teo Levi. In addition to yoga, she enjoys photography (, walks in nature and, of course, a good book.
To practice conscious, evolutionary Yoga is to move with the creative power that flows in all life. It is to enhance the flowing forth of who you really are; it is to get to know your Self, and to find compassion, love, creativity and freedom.
