Your class is of your own design, concept and price point as you will be operating your own business (Independent Contractor)

Nu includes all classes that take place in our Art Gallery Studio on our website and provides an online signup

Teachers keep all the funds from student attendance, including the sales of any goods or alternate services they may wish to provide during their class times

Our Studio features a separate Prop Room full of Yoga, Pilates and Barre Workout equipment for teachers and students to use free of charge

All Member / Instructors have the ability to use the studio free of charge for private lessons and personal practice

All Member / Instructors may also attend any weekly ongoing class free of charge

All Member / Instructors receive half price on Workshop Rentals

Nu Movement advertises for all classes and workshops on our social media platforms to help spread the word about your services and offerings

Proof of NYS Law Certification if required to teach your specific class style

All Member / Instructors are required to carry Personal Injury and Property Damage Insurance coverage listing Nu Movement as additionally Insured. We work with a broker who is able to provide this for you at the lowest rate available.

All Member / Instructors are obligated to an eight (8) consecutive week contract for public classes. Teachers pay a floor fee of $25 - $30 per hour to offer their classes, which is to be paid in full to secure your time slot. If you are interested in holding workshops or monthly offerings, we provide services for that as well +please see info below

650 square foot custom heated floor / can accommodate up to 25 mats

A separate Prop Room stocked with yoga mats, blocks, blankets, eye pillows, straps, tennis balls, bolsters, and ballet barres

Rental Rates are by the hour - $35 per hour / one additional mandatory hour charged for 30min setup and 30min cleanup

Renters must provide proof of Insurance for personal injury and property damage and will need to add Nu Movement as additionally insured for the duration of time while using the studio

If you are offering a public class / event that requires a certification according to NYS law proof of certification is required

All renters are required to sign a liability waiver / rental agreement and total rental amount is to be paid in full in order to reserve your day and time
