Yoga Nidra on the Solstice: A Benefit to Support Team Rubicon

We will gather on the darkest night of the year to benefit Team Rubicon, an organization which aids communities in their darkest hour by serving at-risk populations affected by disaster.

The Class: Yoga Nidra means yogic sleep. It is a system of progressive relaxation for body, mind and spirit. It requires no previous experience & no effort. Anyone craving deeper rest, a calm mind & an expansive sense of well-being will benefit from this special practice, and all for a good cause.

It is said that one hour of Yoga Nidra is akin to six hours of deep sleep. It’s truly a practice like no other. Participants will simply recline comfortably on mats with blankets & props and receive this deeply restorative guided experience. All you need to bring is your mat & your willingness to let go. If you enjoy journaling, bring along something to write with & your journal.

Kevilyn O’Connor, RYT500, is a yoga therapist within the VA medical system and owner of The Wild & Still, llc. She was introduced to yoga & meditation over thirty years ago. Her teaching is grounded in compassion & a desire to help students unlock their personal potential for inner peace.

Cost: Your $15 donation will benefit Team Rubicon / For more information or to donate directly:
