Megan has been doing yoga for 7 years. She started in Philadelphia while she was attending the Art Institute to receive her Bachelors Degree. The city had ample opportunities to try Bikram, Hatha, Iyengar, Vinyasa, and Ashtanga. She continued her love and passion for yoga over the years and it lead her to Open Sky Yoga. Open Sky Yoga has the foundations of Iyengar Yoga that focuses on alignment and use of props to ensure proper asana practice. Megan is finishing up her teacher training for RYT 200, and will be completed in June 2014. She has also been Certified in Hot Yoga through Yoga Fit.
Megan lives with her boyfriend Paul, and their two rescued dogs Chase (pug/min pin mix) and Dexter (pit bull mix). In her spare time she loves taking long walks with her family, hiking through nature, and enjoying life. She enjoys going to the public market to pick up great local fruits and veggies to cook up some spectacular vegetarian cuisines.
