NOW Meditation

MONDAYS 7:15 - 8:15 AM

NOW Meditation is founded on the belief that to create peace around ourselves, we must first cultivate peace within ourselves. We try to control many things in our lives, but we pay the least attention to the one thing we can control, our minds.

NOW welcomes all experience levels and meditation approaches. The morning practice will be led by Davis Craig who has studied with Peace Revolution, a Thai non-profit organization that teaches meditation methods and habits.

Sowing Stability: 4 Week Kundalini Yoga Series

MONDAYS 5:30 - 6:45 PM (4/1 - 4/29)

It’s a revolutionary act to allow ourselves to be happy” -Ved Bachan Kaur

This series focuses on expanding access to inner stability. Using intelligent sequencing of posture (kriyas), breath work (pranayama), mantra and meditation, we will take definitive aim at shifting unhelpful energetic states and mental patterns, and widening our capacities for happiness. The transformative practice of kundalini yoga is an excellent way to strengthen the body and nervous system while attaining greater clarity, calm, and perspective. With access to these states comes an increased threshold for deep stability - the ideal internal environment for fostering happiness.

This series is offered every Monday in the month of April from 5:30 - 6:45pm with Adair Finucane, LMSW. Adair is a social worker, artist, horse advocate, and a passionate teacher and practitioner of hatha and kundalini yoga. Her classes are warm, inviting, and geared towards accessibility.

Drop-ins welcome - attend all 4 classes or any single class in this series.

Intuitive Yoga Flow

THURSDAYS 6:45 - 7:45 PM

This unique yoga-inspired movement class with Alyssa Budinock is intimate, undisciplined, and oh-so freeing! This class is designed for those curious souls who are seeking new possibilities in movement and a deeper connection with the body. All are welcome and no previous experience is required.

The body is an extraordinary communicator. We don’t need to tell our bodies how to stretch when we first wake up in the morning. Lying in bed, the body tells us how to move and shift. Amazingly, the same intuitive beckoning happens when we listen to a song that makes us want to shake our blessings!

In this class we’ll reconnect with the body’s “song” and natural intelligence by exploring classic yoga poses with invitations for free movement. We’ll access poses like warrior and invite hips, heart, arms and hands to undulate in ways the body is calling for.

We’ll also be engaging in free-flowing sequences, breath work, and meditation in motion - without being glued to our mats. We’ll flow from cobra to camel, allowing movement to meet the breath or flow with the music.

By listening deeply to our inner guide, (and a killer playlist!) we will learn to embody our most authentic expressions of characteristics like gratitude, strength, compassion, balance and surrender. Above all, we’ll learn to lean into a more loving relationship with the body.

Weekly Om Chanting

THURSDAYS 8:00 - 9:00 PM

OM Chanting is a group practice that uses the transformational power of OM to activate the self-healing potential of participants. The practice transforms negativity into positive energy, helps purify the local environment, and supports the physical, emotional and spiritual well-being of participants.

Love is meant to be shared. OM Chanting brings people together to share the positive vibrations of OM and their love for Mother Earth in local communities and nations around the world.

This practice promotes inner peace, mental clarity, emotional freedom and physical health. Many experience positive shifts which allow them to enjoy more peace, joy and love in their lives. Due to a special blessing, OM Chanting generates a vibrational frequency that releases negativity, transforms it and showers participants with positive energy.

The vibrational waves created by the circle spread out in a 2-kilometre radius, creating a harmonious, peaceful environment and a unity between humans and nature. The OM continues to resonate in participants’ bodies after the circle, allowing them to share the good vibrations wherever they go.

No previous experience is required. OM Chanting is not a faith-based practice, but all faiths are welcomed, as well as those who have no interest in spirituality. The only requirement is that you must be able to sit (either on the floor or in a chair) and repeatedly chant OM (at your own pace) for the entire circle time (45 minutes).
