This class is inspired by the Ashtanga Yoga Primary Series and lead by Instructor, Liza Savage-Katz. This dynamic method of yoga involves synchronizing the breath with a progressive series of postures. Synchronizing breathing and movement in the asanas (postures) heats the blood, cleaning and thinning it so that it may circulate more freely. Improved blood circulation relieves joint pain and removes toxins and disease from the internal organs.
This Ashtanga Yoga sequence, when practiced regularly, will allow the student to witness marked results with their practice and experience the satisfaction of seeing the once impossible become possible. Personal growth is a truly wonderful thing to experience and witness!
